1. Where We Ship

We currently ship only to addresses within the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. We do not ship to U.S. territories (e.g., Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands), PO Boxes, or APO/FPO addresses unless otherwise stated at checkout.

If you provide a PO Box or APO/FPO address, we will contact you to request an alternative street address. Orders may be cancelled if a valid street address cannot be provided.

2. Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding major U.S. holidays). You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed and handed to the carrier. Business days do not include weekends or holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas).

3. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

After processing, shipping rates and estimated delivery times are:

Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx) and are not guaranteed by Austin Handcrafted LLC. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier service disruptions, or peak holiday seasons. A tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as your order ships.

4. Order Changes, Address Errors, & Undeliverable Packages

  • Incorrect addresses: Please double‑check your shipping address. If you realize you entered an incorrect address, email us immediately at Hello@AustinHandcrafted.com. Once an order has been shipped, we cannot change the delivery address.
  • Returned to sender: If a package is returned to us because the address was invalid, the carrier could not deliver (e.g., no secure location), or you refused delivery, we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Additional shipping charges will apply for reshipment.
  • Unclaimed packages: You are responsible for tracking your package and arranging redelivery or pickup with the carrier. If a package is not claimed and is returned to us, the same reshipment fee applies.

5. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

  • Lost in transit: If your tracking shows “delivered” but you have not received the package, please first check with neighbours or your local post office. We will assist with filing a missing package claim, but we cannot issue a refund or replacement unless the carrier formally declares the package lost (typically 15 days after the expected delivery date).
  • Stolen after delivery: We are not responsible for packages stolen from your doorstep or mailbox after delivery confirmation. We recommend using a secure delivery location or a shipping method that requires a signature.
  • Damaged in transit: If your product arrives damaged, please take photos of the packaging and product and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at Hello@AustinHandcrafted.com. We will arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with our 30‑Day Happiness Guarantee.

6. Liability for Delivery

Once the carrier takes possession of your package, we are no longer able to control delivery timing or conditions. However, we are committed to helping you resolve any delivery issues – please contact us if your package does not arrive as expected, and we will work with the carrier to locate it or assist with a claim.

7. FTC “Mail Order Rule” – Our Promise on Delays

Under the FTC’s Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule:

  • If we cannot ship your order within the promised time (e.g., the estimated delivery window after processing), we will notify you of the revised shipping date and give you the option to cancel for a full refund.
  • If you do not respond to our delay notice, the delay will automatically be deemed acceptable only for a maximum of 30 days. After that, we will issue a refund unless you consent in writing to a further delay.
